1. Who we are
"sixmapper", "we", "us" or "our" refers to the operator of sixmapper.com. You can contact us at support@sixmapper.com.
2. What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to sell and license the sixmapper desktop application:
- From your purchase: your email address and country, via our payment processor Polar.sh. We never see or store your payment card details.
- From licence activation: a hashed hardware fingerprint of each device you activate sixmapper on, and the timestamp of activation. This is generated by the licensing service Keygen.sh and is used only to enforce the per-licence device limit.
- From licence check-ins: when sixmapper validates your licence (typically once an hour while running), our licensing server receives the licence key, the hashed device fingerprint, and the timestamp.
- From crashes: if sixmapper crashes, an automatic report is sent to our error-tracking service (Sentry). The report contains the error message, the stack trace, your operating system and Python runtime version, and the sixmapper version. Sensitive values are filtered out before sending — license keys, email addresses, and Windows usernames are scrubbed client-side. We use these reports only to fix bugs.
3. What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect Rainbow Six Siege gameplay data.
- We do not read or upload the contents of your replay files.
- We do not collect Ubisoft account information.
- We do not track which features you use or how often you use them.
- We do not have analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising on the desktop application.
4. How we use it
We use the information above only for:
- Delivering your licence key by email after purchase.
- Verifying your licence is active when sixmapper runs.
- Enforcing the per-licence device limit (currently 2 devices).
- Replying to support requests you send us.
5. Who else sees it
We use a small number of third-party services that necessarily process some of this information:
- Polar.sh (payment processing) — handles checkout and stores your billing email.
- Keygen.sh (licence management) — stores your licence key and hashed device fingerprints.
- Resend (transactional email) — delivers your licence email.
- Cloudflare (DNS, web hosting, email routing) — handles website traffic and forwards email to our support inbox.
- Sentry (error tracking) — receives automatic crash reports if sixmapper fails. Reports contain stack traces and version info, but PII is filtered out client-side.
We do not sell or share your information with anyone else. We do not run advertising or marketing trackers.
6. How long we keep it
We retain licence and purchase records for as long as your subscription is active, plus 6 years after cancellation for tax and accounting purposes (UK statutory requirement). You can request deletion of personal data outside that retention window — see below.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Email support@sixmapper.com from the address you used at purchase and we'll action your request within 30 days.
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers (Resend, Polar) operate servers outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards as required by UK GDPR.
9. Cookies and the website
sixmapper.com does not set tracking or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly-necessary cookie to mitigate abuse. Polar's checkout page is hosted on polar.sh; their cookie policy applies on that page.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email to active subscribers. The current version is always at sixmapper.com/privacy.
11. Complaints
If you believe we've mishandled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
